We like to think of our club as one of Suffield's better kept secrets. Located right on N. Main Street, it is nestled far enough behind a line of grand old homes that one needs to work a bit to notice the club house, and the pond on our "signature" first fairway.
The club offers golf, tennis, swimming, and social memberships. These are available bundled, or a la carte, depending on members' needs and circumstances. We have compared our membership rates to other country clubs in the area, and we know they are competitive. We also know we have some intangibles that the others don't. For instance, golfers don't need to call ahead for tee times. In this hustle and bustle world there is a lot to be said for being able to dodge out of the office on a late summer afternoon, and still have time to get in a crisp round of golf. Our Swim membership is extremely family-oriented. They have a very active and successful swim team, competing with teams from other nearby communities. The tennis courts are clay, and boast an active group of players. We have also just installed an updated lighting system for those who prefer a comfortable match on a summer night. Our social environment is bolstered by a varied, and delicious menu provided by the Daly Family. Menus are available for evening dining as well as Pub luncheons, and reasonable. They are a fully licensed purveyor of your favorite liquids of course! And, the group events they host are all fun, affordable, and well-themed. We cap every year off with a fabulous New Year's Eve Party. And oh yes, there is one more very important fact. The members at Suffield Country Club are your neighbors. Snobs need not apply!
We are hoping to share all of this and more, up close and personal, with anyone who is able to join us at our Open House on Sunday, May 2nd, between 1 and 6 PM.
